Face spam to its maximum. I clearly amuse myself way too easily with a camera in my kitchen at almost 3am. Honestly, college can start up fast enough. I’m quite literally loosing my mind.

This is a before and after picture of my hair (and what I’m wearing out today).
Sooooo fun story: yesterday my friends and I were just chilling and hanging out in the lobby and it was a quite afternoon; there’s not much to do during the day time except class, and eat. My friend Dominique braids hair, and my friend Tiffany was doing Dominique’s hair up into braids. I turned to Dominique and asked her if she wanted to do mine. She looked at me like I was completely mental. I had never had my hair braided or corn-rolled before, so I figured “Why not, right?” I mean, we only have one life, what’s the fun if we don’t do some things in the spur of the moment? Long story short, and an hour later, I have braids! And let me tell you, the difference they make when I walk around on campus. I’m stared at, I get hit on by more women, and I can feel more people whispering about me than ever before. The catch? I really don’t care. It’s my hair, my body, my choices. Whatever. It’s just interesting to see the difference small changes in appearance can make, when having someone look at you. I’ve gotten questions already like “Are you part black?” or comments like “You could pass for Alicia Keys”, and all I’m thinking is, “It’s just hair”. I might as well shave it all off like I eventually want to do just for reactions, because if this is what happens when hair is altered slightly, I’ll be damned if I know what happens when there’s none of it at all!
